Luis Gonzalez

Principal and President

Luis Gonzalez, a 33-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, is a principal and president of the Paragon Group of Florida, LLC. In this capacity, he is responsible for strategic planning and financing for the company.


In addition to Paragon Group, Mr. Gonzalez has been instrumental in establishing several longstanding commercial real estate firms, including Centrust Development Group, The Carlisle Group and Clinton International Group. As a principal at each of those startups, Mr. Gonzalez led in various roles such as Director of Acquisitions, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.


Prior to founding Paragon Group, Mr. Gonzalez served as president of Centrust Development Group where he led land acquisition ventures in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Orange Counties as well as developing multi-family projects in Monroe County, and identifying opportunities across the state in the rehabilitation and sale of office, hotel and multi-family properties.


Mr. Gonzalez also has served the community in different capacities. Appointed by the Honorable Commissioner Rebecca Sosa, he was appointed to the Board of the Miami-Dade Housing Finance Authority from 2004-2008. He also was part of the City of Miami Advisory Loan Committee from 2005-2007. Additionally he was a member of the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity from 1998-2000.

He graduated, with honors, from the University of Miami in 1985 with a bachelor’s of Business Administration. Mr. Gonzalez is also a non-practicing certified public accountant (license inactive 2001) and has held real estate and mortgage broker licenses (neither is currently active). He has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) since 1994.

Jorge A. Gonzalez, a 27-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, is a principal and executive vice president of the Paragon Group of Florida, LLC. In this capacity, he is responsible for the development and day-to-day operations of the company.


In addition to Paragon Group, Mr. Gonzalez has had a leading role in some of the largest privately held multifamily development companies in the United States. He has served in several senior development positions ranging from project manager to senior vice-president, applying his skills to a variety of developments, including both market rate and subsidized multifamily, mixed-use projects with residential and retail components, and luxury condominium beach fronts


Prior to joining Paragon Group, Mr. Gonzalez was a senior project manager of Related Development, LLC. He was responsible for the entire development process of specific projects within the multifamily rental division. Also, while at Related, he was the project manager directly responsible for the day-to-day development, construction and sales activity of more than 2,200 luxury beach fronts and Brickell Avenue units, totaling an excess of $1 billion in sales revenue.


Previously, Mr. Gonzalez was a founding member and served as senior vice president of The Carlisle Group, a prominent tax credit multifamily development and management company. He was directly responsible for entitlements, development completion and construction for more than 6,000 units throughout the State of Florida.

Mr. Gonzalez graduated from Florida International University with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Jorge A. Gonzalez, a 27-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, is a principal and executive vice president of the Paragon Group of Florida, LLC. In this capacity, he is responsible for the development and day-to-day operations of the company.

Stephen Gonzalez

Assistant Project Manager

Stephen Gonzalez began working for Paragon in April 2020. Stephen’s role in the company is as an Assistant Project Manager (“APM”) . His duties include day to day on-site operations & construction management, owner & subcontractor relations, and preparing bank draws & internal accounting.


In his role as the APM, Stephen managed all facets of construction for the Centria project, a single-family development located in Homestead, Florida. The project was completed in the Spring of 2021. He is now the Project Manager for the initial phase of the Trails project located in West Miami, nestled between Coral Gables and Westchester.


Stephen is a graduate of Florida International University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, majoring in Real Estate Finance.

Assistant Project Manager

Stephen Gonzalez began working for Paragon in April 2020. Stephen’s role in the company is as an Assistant Project Manager (“APM”) . His duties include day to day on-site operations & construction management, owner & subcontractor relations, and preparing bank draws & internal accounting.


In his role as the APM, Stephen managed all facets of construction for the Centria project, a single-family development located in Homestead, Florida. The project was completed in the Spring of 2021. He is now the Project Manager for the initial phase of the Trails project located in West Miami, nestled between Coral Gables and Westchester.


Stephen is a graduate of Florida International University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, majoring in Real Estate Finance.
