In July 2015, Paragon Group purchased a commercial parcel totaling 26,000 sf located on the hard corner of Sunset Drive and SW 62nd ave for $8,880,000. Paragon completed the due diligence and investor raise in less than 45 days. The property was entitled to a six-story Medical office building located in the heart of the South Miami Medical District. Paragon Group handled the predevelopment and site plan approval process during 2016 and early 2017. Prior to obtaining the construction permits, Paragon Group was approached by Baptist Hospital, the owners of the adjacent parcels, and the owner of the South Miami Hospital located across the street from the property. In November 2017, Paragon Group sold the parcel to Baptist Hospital for $12 million.
